MINI-DRAMA

Children love to make believe! Fun drama classes for ages 3-5yrs. Through drama games, story-telling and songs we explore a world of imagination! Build confidence, creativity and speaking skills. With costumes and sparkle we are ready to perform in a mini-musical and take the first steps on stage!

STAGES

Explore the world of drama and magic of the musicals! Acting, singing and movement in 4 levels for ages 6 – 18yrs. In English and taught by professional teachers. Develop confidence, vocal skills and perform on stage!

STAGE 1 age 6-8
STAGE 2 age 9-11
STAGE 3 age 12–14
STAGE 4 age 15-18

YOUTH THEATRE

Creative and challenging classes for ages 15-18yrs. In depth study of acting for the stage. Through drama games and exercises explore acting methods, improvisation and script work.

For beginners or those with acting experience. This challenging course concludes with a performance of a play in a main stage theatre!

ADULT MUSIC THEATRE

Do you love the magic of the musicals as much as we do! Then this course which combines acting and music theatre training is for you. Taught by a professional singer and musical theatre artist. Develop vocal and performance skills.

Our adult students perform in full length shows in the theatre!

ADULT ACTING

Training in acting for adults in varied levels. Taught by experienced industry professionals, explore acting methods, scene study, impro and performance skills.

Start as a beginner or progress to our advanced courses. Gain valuable on-stage experience! Perform in plays in main stage theatres in Budapest!

THE ACTORS' WORKSHOP

The Actors’ Workshop is a creative space for actors to connect, gain confidence and receive valuable feedback from industry professionals. Attend workshops regularly or on an ad hoc basis.

Focus is on screen acting, audition skills, scene study, improvisation and acting methods.

Love film? Learn fundamentals of Acting for Screen and Film Making! Led by industry professionals and cinematographers.

Develop confidence in front of the camera and gain skills you need to audition and work on set. Through acting methods and exercises learn how to give truthful performances. Through hands on film making, we go from script to screen, from story boarding to shooting! Be ready to hit the red carpet!

The spectacular musical adaptation of Fellini's 8½ features one man and the dozens of women in his life. Celebrated but impetuous film director Guido Contini, succumbing to the pressures of filming his latest film epic, suffers a midlife crisis. One by one, women from his past and present – including his mother, his wife, his mistress, and his leading lady – haunt, instruct, scold, seduce and encourage him until he finally learns to grow up.

Faye Bradbrook

Teacher of Drama, Music Theatre & Dialect Coach

I’m Faye, director, teacher and founder of DramaWorks (2008). I’m from the UK and have been living in Budapest since 2006. I believe the imagination is a wonderful tool for teaching and the essence of acting. Alongside teaching I continue to work as professional actress on stage, in films and as a voice-over artist.

Henry Fisher

Teacher of Drama, Music Theatre & Vocal Coach

Henry is thrilled to be part of the DramaWorks team! Transplanted from New York City, he brings a very energetic and contemporary view of the world of acting, musical theatre, and voice! He works professionally as an actor and singer, as well as a trained theatrical carpenter and designer. He has worked extensively both on and off Broadway.

Scott Alexander Young

Acting Coach

Scott joined the DramaWorks team in 2017. As a busy working actor and professional writer, he brings a broad range of experience to his coaching. He helps develop students’ confidence in their performing abilities, spoken skills and preparation for auditions. His "starter kit" for actors has helped many an aspiring actor get work and to win places in UK and US drama school and universities.

Ariana Lebrón

Teacher of Acting & Film

Ariana Lebrón was born in Dominican Republic. From a young age she explored stage performances in school plays and theatre groups, which made her fell in love with the performing arts. She later attended London's prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Ariana has had the opportunity to work in music videos, short films, commercials, and web series. She brings a vibrant background of experience to her classes both in front and behind the camera.
