DramaWorks Film Factory offers courses in acting for screen and film making. Designed especially for teens who love film and love creating!

For those who would like to work on screen these workshops develop confidence in working in front of the camera and basic screen acting skills they need to self-tape, auditioning and work on set.

Trimester 1.

Our first trimester focuses on key acting skills. A well-rounded, well-supported voice is essential for any actor. Through challenging acting exercises, improvisation and vocal work students learn to portray truthful characters and give natural performances. Students will also explore script analysis as well as devised and written scenes and learn how to perform these on screen.

Trimester 2 and 3.

In the second and third trimesters we explore further the technical aspects of film making. From developing a story board through to on-camera technique and shooting their movie! We learn that creating film is team work! By working hands on with the camera students learn about sound, directing and basic camera skills. There is a lot to learn both in front and behind the camera!

After a lot of fun and hard work it's time to pop the popcorn and hit the red carpet! We invite family and friends to watch our premier!
