DramaWorks Film Factory Take 4 course is for aspiring actors and filmmakers. This course is designed to inspire and support young artists to create and bring their stories to life on screen!

At this level they gain deeper understanding of acting methods specifically for on camera acting and portraying truthful performances on screen. We explore a variety of scripts from comedy to drama including character development, script analysis and blocking. Through practical tasks students gain confidence in front of the camera, further learning how camera techniques can be used to enhance their acting performance and tell a story.

We dive deeper into the film making process, from storyboarding to postproduction. Through group collaboration students go through the creative process of devising, script writing and directing their own short films. They are introduced to more advanced film making techniques to support and inspire their ideas. At this level students may have a greater passion for exploring a certain aspect of filmmaking. They are given the encouragement and skills to take on strong roles as actors, directors and cinematographers.

Led by industry professionals and cinematographers. Through hands on film making, we go from script to screen, from story boarding to shooting! We invite family and friends to watch our premier! After a lot of fun and hard work it’s time to pop the popcorn and hit the red carpet!
